As previously advised, be aware if you are importing high risk targeted goods via seafreight from, through or via a targeted country and do not have a treatment certificate from an approved BMSB treatment provider, your goods will not be allowed into the country and will be re-exported or directed for destruction at your expense.

Further to the above, previous seasons have allowed for goods which were manufactured after the 1st of December to be exempt from treatment, this is not the case this season. This seasons measures require treatment of all high risk targeted goods throughout the whole duration of the season, goods shipped between 1st of September 2018 until April 30th 2019 inclusive.
